The Shift We’ve Been Sitting With

You know that moment when you realize you’re not thinking about your ex anymore? Not replaying old conversations, not wondering if they’ve changed, not needing to prove how well you’re doing?

That’s not just healing. That’s forward motion. That’s your future finally getting louder than your past.

It’s a shift Carolyn and I have been thinking about a lot this summer - the way women quietly reclaim their power, not with fanfare, but with clarity, confidence, and the decision to keep going.

And oh boy, have we been busy behind the scenes. But this season, it’s felt especially meaningful. Because everything we’ve been building is in service of helping the women we work with find their bold, beautiful next chapter.

And this newsletter? It’s packed with the very beginning of what we’ve got coming. Stay with us...this next stretch is going to be oh so good.

🎙 Our New Relationship With Divorced Girl Smiling

We’re honored to be featured as Trusted Professionals with Divorced Girl Smiling. We believe this is the most comprehensive site for women navigating the divorce process - and we've looked at a lot of them! It's what we wish we had at the beginning of our own divorce journey. A great place to find real-world advice, helpful tools, and carefully selected professionals to support women through the thick of divorce.

What makes this especially meaningful to us is that most divorce professionals focus on the before and during. The legal process, the custody arrangements, the moment-to-moment survival. But at ReBranding Divorce, we focus on what comes next. When the paperwork is done and the silence sets in. When you're no longer someone's wife and you're trying to figure out who you are now.

That’s what we shared on the Divorced Girl Smiling podcast. We had a powerful conversation about the Post-Divorce Growth Cycle, the framework we created to help women move from just getting by to actually rebuilding a life that feels meaningful and fully their own.

If you’ve ever found yourself asking “what now?”—this conversation is for you.

✏️ Blog: Part 2: The Unique Challenges of Divorcing a Narcissist

It’s Not Over When the Papers Are Signed

Divorcing a narcissist isn’t like other divorces. If you’ve lived it, you already know. It doesn’t end when the ink dries. It doesn’t stop when the court date is over. For many women, that’s when the real work begins.

There’s the mental exhaustion, the second-guessing, the strange cocktail of grief and relief. There’s learning to parent without being pulled into power games. There’s trying to rebuild your life while still feeling like you’re dodging emotional landmines.

So if you’ve found yourself wondering why does this still feel so hard?, you’re not alone. More importantly, you’re not imagining it.

This Is the Hard Part No One Talks About

We hear a lot about getting out of a marriage. But not nearly enough about what happens after. The quiet unraveling. The triggers that sneak up out of nowhere. The work it takes to untangle your identity from someone who spent years trying to rewrite your reality.

The truth ever woman deserves to know is that even though this part is hard, it’s also where the real freedom begins.

This week’s blog digs into that messy middle. Exploring what it looks like to truly start recovering from narcissistic abuse after divorce, and how to take your power back one choice at a time.

🎨 How We're Exploring Our Creativity

Creative Energy, Real Connection

This summer, Carolyn had a genius idea. What if we got a group of women together - not to talk about healing or growth - but to create something?

No pressure. No plan. Just space to play.

We called it Art Night, but it turned into something so much more. Women brought whatever called to them. Some painted. Some worked with clay. Others stitched, sketched, or simply sat in the creative energy. It wasn’t about being good at it. It was about following what felt inspiring in that moment.

And what happened was kind of magical. Stories were shared without needing to be. Laughter showed up between brushstrokes. And in the quiet, something shifted. It was a reminder that healing doesn’t always need words. That making something with your hands can be just as powerful as saying it out loud.

Sometimes growth looks like a messy canvas or a lopsided clay bowl. Sometimes it’s simply showing up, taking a breath, and letting yourself be in a room with women who understand what it means to start over.

We’re already thinking about how to bring more of this into our work. Because creativity and connection? They’re not extras. They’re essentials.

💬 Haven’t Taken Our Quiz Yet?

Remember when we used to flip through magazines to take those "What Kind of Friend Are You?" or "What's Your Signature Color?" quizzes? Well, this one’s a little more grown-up—but just as satisfying.

If you’ve been asking yourself What do I even focus on now?, this quiz will help you figure that out. It’s short, it’s thoughtful, and it’s designed to point you toward the area of your life that’s ready for a little extra attention.

Maybe it’s time to reconnect with your sense of self. Maybe your money story needs a rewrite. Maybe self-care or relationships have been running on empty. This quiz helps you get clear on what comes next so you can stop spinning your wheels and start moving forward.

Because clarity is powerful. And this is way more useful than finding out what kind of pizza you are.
